About Mud Pie Vegan Bakery
Mud Pie Vegan Bakery is a plant-based bakery located in Mission, Kansas. We specialize in vegan and gluten-free baked goods, along with bottled grab-and-go drinks made in small batches.
Everything we make is 100 percent vegan, meaning we do not use eggs, dairy, honey, or any animal-derived ingredients. Many of our items are also gluten-free, and those products are prepared in separate batches using dedicated equipment to help reduce cross-contact.
Mud Pie began as a neighborhood bakery with a focus on thoughtful ingredients, creative flavors, and accessibility. Over time, our shop has evolved into a grab-and-go model that allows us to focus on what we do best: baking and bottling things we’re genuinely excited to share.

What We Make
We offer a rotating selection of baked goods and bottled drinks, including:

Our Approach
We focus on small-batch production, simple processes, and transparency. We believe good food does not need to be overcomplicated, and we prefer sharing how things are made rather than dressing them up with marketing language.
Many of our drinks are bottled in reusable glass jars with a small deposit. This helps reduce waste and keeps packaging out of landfills when possible.

While our kitchen is not certified gluten-free, we take gluten-free production seriously. Gluten-free items are made separately from wheat-based products, using dedicated bowls, mixers, pans, utensils, and gloves.
